About our school

Reynella South Preschool and School is a welcoming, inclusive learning community located in southern Adelaide.  As a small school, we are proud of the strong relationships that shape our work each day. With 20 children in our Preschool and approximately 150 students from foundation to year 6, we offer a connected and responsive learning environment where every child is known, valued and supported to thrive.

Our school is often described as a little school with a big heart. This reflects our strong sense of community and our commitment to creating a place where students and families feel a genuine sense of belonging. Our size allows us to work closely with families, build trust and respond thoughtfully to the individual strengths, needs and aspirations of each learner.

Our vision, A Connected Community, Aiming High, captures who we are and what we strive for. We believe that learning and wellbeing are strengthened through connection, shared responsibility and high expectations. By working together, we support every child to aim high academically, socially and emotionally, and to develop the skills they need for life now and into the future.

Our four values of Belonging, Kindness, Persistence and Curiosity guide everything we do at Reynella South. Belonging ensures every member of our school community feels safe and valued, kindness shapes the way we treat one another, persistence supports us in the face of challenge, and curiosity inspires a love of learning.

Our dedicated staff provide high quality learning experiences, underpinned by inclusive practices that recognise diversity, build on strengths, and provide the support all children need to succeed. Learning is purposeful, with strong foundations in literacy and numeracy complemented by curiosity, creativity, wellbeing, and social responsibility.

As a community, we value learning that matters both now and in the future. We aim to develop successful learners and caring young people who contribute positively to their community, show empathy and respect for others, and approach the future with confidence.
